The Hearts Behind the Paws

Tails of Falkirk was born from a deep love for animals and a soft spot for the more sensitive souls. My journey with my own rescue dogs, Summer and Odie, taught me just how much patience, empathy and advocacy our pets need to truly thrive.

From helping a terrified Bulgarian rescue learn to trust the world again, to supporting a goofy, fear-reactive Romanian boy as he grew in confidence, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful gentle, consistent care can be.

Every walk, visit and cuddle is rooted in that same belief: that every animal deserves to feel safe, understood and loved for exactly who they are. That’s the heart behind Tails of Falkirk.

About Me

My name is Steph, I'm 26 and animals are my passion! After working in admin for eight years, I finally took the leap to pursue this work full-time.

Alongside Tails of Falkirk, I work part-time at Powiswood Boarding Kennels, which gives me hands-on experience with many different breeds, personalities and needs.

While I don’t currently own cats myself, I’ve always been around them through family and friends, and I’m very confident caring for their daily needs and giving them the attention they choose (on their terms, of course!).

I’m professional, trustworthy and hard-working, and I know some animals need a little extra time to warm up. I’m always happy to go at their pace. Your pet will always come first with me, and I’ll be their biggest advocate every step of the way.
